Editorial Policy

Our standards
- Reputable sources. We build articles from public health bodies, hospital and university health pages, and peer-reviewed literature, and list them at the bottom of each article.
- Original writing. We write in our own words and do not copy other sites.
- Evidence labels. We separate what is well established from remedies with limited or no evidence.
- No guarantees. We never promise that a remedy or product will work.
- No fake authority. No invented doctors, author profiles, testimonials or studies. Credentials are shown only when genuine and verified.
How articles are made
We use AI tools to help research and draft. Every article is then checked against its cited sources by a human editor before it is published. No article currently carries a clinical review, and none is claimed. A “last reviewed” date is displayed only after a genuine review.
Corrections and updates
Found a mistake or an outdated claim? Email hello@drhiccups.com with the page and a source. We correct errors promptly and update the modified date.
Advertising and sales
We sell an optional video guide. Safety information is never placed behind payment. Any future advertising will be labelled and will not influence our content.
